Plugin Boutique has launched a new membership program that gives music producers access to free plugins, Virtual Cash rewards, and additional benefits based on how much they spend.
The new Plugin Boutique Membership expands the company’s existing loyalty rewards program with three tiers: Member, Silver, and Gold. Here’s how the program works and what you can get at each level.
What Is the Plugin Boutique Membership?
The Plugin Boutique Membership is a free rewards program designed to give customers additional benefits when purchasing music production software. Your membership tier depends on your qualifying spending through Plugin Boutique over a rolling 12-month period.
There are three membership levels, and each offers different benefits.
Member Tier: Free for Everyone
The standard Member tier is free for anyone with a Plugin Boutique account.
Benefits include:
- Access to hundreds of free plugins.
- 5% back in Virtual Cash on every purchase.
- A free plugin with a purchase.
This is the starting point for new accounts, so you don’t need to spend anything to become a member and access the standard rewards.
Silver Membership: Spend $100
Spend $100 through Plugin Boutique over a rolling 12-month period, and you qualify for Silver membership.
Silver includes all the benefits of the standard Member tier, plus Creator Perks. These additional benefits are designed to help producers learn, develop their skills, and promote their work.
If you regularly purchase plugins and virtual instruments, Silver gives you access to extra benefits beyond the standard loyalty rewards.
Gold Membership: Spend $200
Gold membership is available when your qualifying spending reaches $200 over a rolling 12-month period.
Gold includes everything in the Member and Silver tiers, with two additional benefits:
- 7.5% back in Virtual Cash on every purchase, increased from the standard 5%.
- One free mystery plugin to claim every month, giving you the opportunity to add 12 additional plugins over a full year.
For producers who regularly purchase music production software, the monthly mystery plugin is a notable addition to the existing rewards program.
There’s also another way to qualify for Gold: an annual subscription to the Plugin Boutique Discovery Bundle.
Existing Plugin Boutique Customers Are Already Enrolled
If you already have a Plugin Boutique account, you don’t need to sign up again.
Existing customers have been automatically assigned to the Member, Silver, or Gold tier according to their qualifying spending over the previous 12 months. New accounts start at the free Member tier.
Keep in mind that the spending period is rolling, not based on the calendar year. Qualifying purchases include purchases made through Plugin Boutique, including Rent-To-Own payments.
