Black Friday is almost here, and Waves is bringing back its free plugin giveaway for Black Friday weekend 2026. You can sign up now to get access to the promotion, even though the giveaway itself is only available during the Black Friday weekend.
If you’re building your music production setup, this is a good time to keep an eye on Waves and other plugin developers offering seasonal deals.
Watch the video below for the details.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the promotion, so make sure you check the official Waves website for the latest details about the free plugin and how to claim it.
More Than 70 Free Plugin Videos
It’s been a busy month on the channel. I’ve published more than 70 videos covering free plugins, music production software, mixing tools, effects, and other studio utilities.
The channel also passed 800,000 views last month and picked up approximately 1,500 new subscribers.
If you’re looking for free plugins to add to your DAW, there are plenty of recent videos covering different tools and developers. Whether you need EQ, compression, creative effects, virtual instruments, or sound design tools, you can find plenty of options without spending money.
Plugin Boutique Introduces a Free Membership Program
Another thing worth checking out is the new Plugin Boutique membership program.
If you already have a Plugin Boutique account, you’re automatically enrolled in the free membership. The program offers additional perks based on your spending levels.
For example:
- Spend $100 and qualify for additional membership benefits.
- Spend $200 and unlock even more perks.
- Receive free plugins and monthly gifts through qualifying membership tiers.
One interesting detail is that previous purchases may count toward your membership rewards. Depending on the qualifying period, purchases made in earlier months may already put you into one of the gift tiers.
I covered the Plugin Boutique membership program in a separate video, where I go into more detail about how it works.
Is Black Friday the Best Time to Buy Plugins?
If you’ve been waiting to purchase music production software, Black Friday is generally one of the best times of the year to compare prices.
This is a good opportunity to look at plugins you’ve been considering, check for discounts, and decide which tools would actually be useful in your studio.
There are plenty of free plugins available, too, so there’s no reason to buy something simply because it’s on sale.
Whether you’re producing music, recording, mixing, or working entirely inside a DAW, take some time to compare the available offers before making a purchase.
What’s on Your Black Friday Plugin Wishlist?

Leave a comment and let me know what’s on your wish list. I’m always interested in seeing what other producers are looking at.
