Donner Concert Ukulele Zebrawood Set Review

Donner Concert Ukulele Zebrawood Set Review-Pin

This is my third ukulele from Donner. You can view reviews of the other two here. Donner Concert Ukulele Mahogany Set First Look – Review and Donner Soprano Ukulele First Look Review.
All of these are good ukuleles at an inexpensive price. The Zebrawood is very nice looking and sounds great. Concert ukuleles have a little lower tone than a soprano and a little easier to play. Although I do play both. See video for sound demos.

As with the other Donner Ukuleles, this one also comes with a tuner, gig bag, strap and an extra set of strings. Quite a value indeed.

Standard tuning for a concert ukulele is G C E A. If you’re a guitar player this would be like having a capo on the 5th fret of your guitar and only playing the 4 highest strings. The only difference is the G-string is tuned an octave higher on the ukulele.

This also comes with a little chord chart to get you started right away.

The strap is nice but I mostly play it by just holding it in place.

The tuner can be used for other strings instruments, Guitar, Bass, Banjo and so on. I have 3 of these tuners now, and they are my favorite clip on tuners I own.

Overall I’m very happy with this Concert Ukulele from Donner and would recommend it.
